Born and raised in Ivory coast, Asia is a music explorer. She pays particular attention to the traditional rhythms that have influenced contemporary African music and she makes people dance under a variety of genres, from Ivorian « coupé décalé », to electronic Angolan dancehall or new African experimental music scene.
