Since its founding in 2011 in Nairobi by Cortega and Electrique DJs, the event has been at the forefront of promoting African electronic music and over time has morphed into a forward-thinking musical playground rooted in inclusivity, creativity and dance.

Over the last nine years, ElectrAfrique has brought the show to five continents. It has been based in Senegal for the last four years, where it's about to deliver it's 40th Dakar edition.

Our stage has been graced by leading artists such as Black Coffee, Boddhi Satva, Djeff, Black Motion, Marfox, Buruntuma, Sauti Sol, Blinky Bill, Rancido, Cee ElAssaad, Branko, mOma, Gardy Girault, Sabine Blaizin, Poirier to name a few and we also take much pride in creating a platform for emerging talents.
